Network Infrastructure Upgrade
A complete network rebuild for a growing logistics office — new switching, structured cabling, Wi-Fi and firewall, delivered with zero downtime.
The challenge
Midwest Logistics Group had outgrown its network. Forty employees sharing a consumer-grade router, Wi-Fi that died in the warehouse half, and no separation between staff, guests and the scanners that track every shipment. Every slowdown cost real money — and nobody could say why it was happening.
Our approach
We started with a full audit of the existing setup, then designed a segmented network built for the way the business actually runs: a dedicated VLAN for warehouse scanners, a separate guest network that can't touch business systems, and priority for the applications that move shipments. Because the office couldn't stop for a week, we built the new network alongside the old one and cut over after hours — the team arrived Monday morning to faster Wi-Fi and didn't miss a minute of work.
The result
A documented, manageable network with room to grow. Warehouse dead zones eliminated, remote access secured with VPN, and a support plan in place so it stays that way.
