Retail Wi-Fi & POS Network
A reliable Wi-Fi and point-of-sale network for a busy café — built to survive rush hour, guest traffic and card terminals without a hiccup.
The challenge
A popular waterfront café with a steady stream of customers — and a network that couldn't keep up. Card terminals dropped during lunch rush, staff tablets lost orders and the guest Wi-Fi shared the same connection as the registers. When the internet wobbled, the café effectively couldn't take money.
Our approach
We rebuilt the network with one rule: payment always wins. Card terminals and staff devices moved to their own network segment with guaranteed priority, while a separate guest Wi-Fi handles customer traffic with its own bandwidth limits. New access points cover the front counter, kitchen and patio, and a simple router setup gives the owner a failover connection so an ISP outage doesn't mean a closed till.
The result
Transactions that go through first try, every time — even at peak. Guests stay connected longer, staff tablets stay responsive and the owner stopped dreading lunch hour.
